Stewart College of Languages is an independent, Canadian-owned language school offering a wide range of ESL (English as a Second Language) programs and short part-time courses in other languages.

In our English conversation and Foreign Language programs, we focus on improving your ability to speak your chosen language.

English Courses

Our English courses include part-time and full-time ESL (English as a Second Language) for adults and teenagers, Business English, TOEIC, TOEFL Test Preparation, Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) and Certificate of Advanced Education (CAE) Preparation and electives such as Pronunciation & Listening Skills.

We also offer twice-weekly activities to introduce students to sightseeing or cultural events in Victoria, twice-weekly conversation club (free) and orientation sessions each Monday for new students.

Foreign Language Courses

Foreign Language students can enjoy small, informal Saturday and evening classes in their chosen language, during four sessions throughout the year. Private and semi-private classes are also available. We also act as agents for schools in other countries, allowing you to learn a language where it is spoken.

Counselling

Our staff can provide you with information about life and services in Victoria. We can also help if you are looking for work or volunteer placements, or for information about social events and activities.

Accommodation Services

We can arrange Homestay Accommodation for you with a Canadian family. Alternatively, if you'd like to arrange your own shared accommodation or room rental, we provide information about available accommodation.
