Join one or more weeks of our "Discover Victoria" Activities to improve your English, learn about Victoria and Canada, make friends and HAVE FUN!
- Each week in 2008, we have scheduled activities on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- You need to pre-register and pay to take apart.
- You can sign up for one week at a time, or for as many weeks as you like.
- Activities must be paid for, in full, at time of registration; but no later than the Thursday before the first activity.
- A Stewart College activity coordinator (or a responsible adult provided by the activity venue) will accompany students on all activities.
- Some activities require a signed waiver. Students under 19 will need a parent or guardian to sign these waivers, preferably before arriving in Victoria. Ask for details.
- Activities are subject to change, and may be replaced with an activity of similar value.

Students who are 18 years and older
- Homestay students who are 18 years or older, pay a one-time Placement Fee to Stewart College of Languages of C$200.
- In addition, a Homestay Fee is paid every two weeks to your host family based on C$189 per week.
- For homestay visits of less than one week, C$30/night is paid.
Students who are 15 to 17 years old
Students aged 15-17 years old will be considered by Stewart College of Languages on an individual basis. Acceptance is NOT automatic.
The homestay costs for students 15 - 17 years old are:
- A one-time Placement Fee to Stewart College of Languages of C$255.
- In addition, for stays of four weeks or longer, a Homestay Fee is paid every two weeks to your host family based on C$210 per week. Each additional day costs C$30 / night.

Students who are 11 to 14 years old
Students aged 11-14 years old will be considered by Stewart College of Languages on an individual basis. Acceptance is NOT automatic.
The homestay costs for students 11 - 14 years old are:
- A one-time Placement Fee to Stewart College of Languages of C$255.
- In addition a Homestay Fee is paid every two weeks to your host family based on C$235 / week.
- This homestay fee includes daily transfer to school with the host family – students in this age group are not permitted to take the bus alone to and from school.

Airport Transfer
- If you apply for our homestay and would like to be picked up and/or dropped off at the airport, please inform us on your homestay application.
- When you know your flight details (flight numbers and schedule), please send us the information so that we can arrange your pickup.
- You can choose one way (arrival only) or round trip (arrival and departure transfer) .
- Airport Transfer Fee: C$55 for one way, C$110 for round trip
Custodianship of Minor
- Students under 19 years old MUST have an adult guardian in Canada while they are studying with us. Contact information for the guardian must be submitted at registration.
- You can find a guardian yourself or you may ask Stewart College (Mrs. Kristina Stewart) to be your guardian. This service is called CUSTODIANSHIP OF A MINOR and the fee is C$100 / 4 weeks.
- Ask for details.
The following payment methods are accepted:
- International Money Order or Bank Draft in Canadian dollars, sent by registered mail. Please allow three weeks for delivery, and fax a copy of the receipt to us so we know to expect it.
- Credit Card: VISA, Master Card, American Express.
Send us a fax with the credit card number, expiration date and the name printed on the card. A 2.75 % surcharge will be added to the amount charged to Visa or Mastercard cards. A 3.75% surcharge will be added to the amount charged to American Express cards.
- Bank Transfer. $20 will be charged for all bank transfers.
